Since 1887 Serengeti Sunglasses have been on the cutting edge of sun lens designs. Mostly known for their “Driver” lenses in photochromic glass, Serengeti offers the highest performing sun lens technology. The “Corning” technology produced a lens that does not break under extreme temperatures, making it ideal for outdoor use and sports. The Serengeti® patented Spectral Control® filter lens process was developed to simultaneously enhance contrast and reduce glare by filtering out distracting blue wavelengths that reduce image sharpness. This helped establish Serengeti eyewear., and years later in 1985 the Driver lenses would be recognized as one of the most innovative designs in sunglasses technology in decades.
